Adopt A Cop BJJ (“AACBJJ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a program operated by North Hills First Responders Corporation (“NHFRC”), a nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

OFFICER APPLICATION AND PROGRAM INFORMATION

Because Adopt A Cop BJJ provides sponsorships to qualifying law enforcement officers, applicants and participants may be asked to provide information concerning their employment, assignment, academy, training, attendance, and eligibility.

This information will be used primarily to evaluate eligibility, administer the program, maintain program accountability, communicate with participants and affiliate academies, and manage sponsorship funding.

We may contact an applicant's or participant's academy, agency, or other appropriate party when reasonably necessary to verify information relevant to program eligibility or participation.

Applicants should not submit confidential law enforcement information, criminal justice information, case information, protected investigative information, passwords, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive information unless specifically requested through an authorized and secure process.

SOCIAL MEDIA AND PROGRAM PARTICIPATION

Certain Adopt A Cop BJJ programs may require participants to maintain or use social media accounts as part of attendance verification, program awareness, or participation requirements.

If you tag, mention, identify, or interact with Adopt A Cop BJJ through a public social media account, that information may be visible to Adopt A Cop BJJ, the social media platform, and members of the public according to your account settings and the policies of that platform.
